(Held in the lobby)

It's 7:30 AM, you're soon to be late,
and you still haven't found
their other shoe!
You've said "let's go" four times.
Your child is still in their pajamas, arguing about which socks to wear.
You're doing the math in your head: you have to leave the driveway no later than 7:40.
You raise your voice a little.
Then a little more.
Then even MORE.
And that's when it happens. The MELTDOWN!
Your child's crying turns into screaming.
Then they drop to the floor.
They won't put on their shoes, won't grab their backpack, won't even move!
You're standing in the doorway, keys in hand, trying to talk them down while the clock keeps ticking. Tick, tock, tick, tock.
You end up nudging a screaming child out the door, both of you in tears before the day has even started.
By the time you do the handoff at the school door, you're frustrated and exhausted. And it's not even 8 AM.
If this is a familiar start to your day, please know that you are not alone and it doesn't have to be this way. You just haven't had the right game plan yet.
Join me - Sharon Elliott, mom and Behavior Analyst - in-person for a FREE 2-hour workshop on
Saturday Sept. 12th, 10 AM-12 PM at Madison Pediatric Wellness Center.
Together, we will uncover why your mornings typically fall apart and build a specific plan together on what to do about it.
Bring your specific situation and leave with a handout mapped out for your child, ready to use the very next morning.
This workshop breaks down why school mornings fall apart and gives you a simple plan to make them calmer.

Uncover why mornings can feel harder than any other part of your day.

Understand what your child's behavior is really telling you so that you can get ahead of it.

Spot the moments that push you to your edge so that you can get back in the driver's seat.

Discover 3 steps that you can start using tomorrow to have fewer meltdowns.
Fill out a guided handout right there in the room as we go, built around your child and your mornings.
You won't leave with ideas to remember later. You'll leave with a plan already written down.

Sharon is a mom and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
She has spent over 16 years helping families reduce meltdowns and reactive parenting cycles using behavior-based strategies that actually work.
Figuring out what to do about your mornings is hard enough without wondering if this workshop is right for your family too. Here are the questions parents ask most before signing up. If your question isn't here, reach out and I'll answer it myself.
This workshop is built for parents of kids roughly ages 4 to 12. The steps are flexible to different ages. You will just adjust your wording based on your child's age and needs.
Most of the parents I work with are in this exact spot! Your child doesn't need a diagnosis for these struggles to be real and they don't need one for this workshop to help.
Yes! This workshop is built for families who feel like they've tried everything. You'll leave with a plan to make mornings calmer, not perfect, but calmer and more manageable.
You are welcome to attend in whatever capacity works for you! If you feel comfortable and want to ask questions and/or share with the group, please do. If you want to attend to just listen, that works too! We will have opportunities for parents to connect with others who are experiencing similar situations, but that is completely voluntary.
The workshop is being hosted at Madison Pediatric Wellness Center, 311 E Clifty Dr, Madison, IN 47250. We are meeting in the spacious front lobby, so come straight in and we'll get you settled.
Yes! This workshop is completely free, in partnership with Caroline's Corner and Madison Pediatric Wellness Center. Seats are limited to 25 and will go quickly, so register early if you want a spot!
The September 12th opportunity is an in-person workshop in Madison, IN and will not be recorded.
This workshop and others will be available on future dates! Keep an eye on my website and social media accounts to stay informed!
